Revelation of La Maestra Competition 2026 at the Philharmonie de Paris, Palestinian conductor Lamar Elias wins the Paris Mozart Orchestra Musicians’ Prize and a Special Mention from the ECHO Committee (European Concert Hall Organisation).
Guided by Sabrie Bekirova and Tugan Sokhiev, Lamar Elias has participated in masterclasses led by conductors such as Johannes Schlaefli and Paavo Järvi, the latter inviting her to join his prestigious Järvi Conducting Academy in 2025.
In recent seasons, she has collaborated with the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, Nürnberger Symphoniker, Pärnu City Orchestra, Brașov Philharmonic and the Tunisian Symphony Orchestra. Deeply committed to musical education, Lamar Elias regularly works with youth orchestras and conservatories in France and abroad, including the DÉMOS Orchestra in Toulouse and the Orchestre des Jeunes de la Méditerranée at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence.
